Dear friends,
It has been an intense summer for us – summer camps, finishing the renovations on the third floor and working with at-risk children and youth.
The third floor is ready and we expect to house one or two more girls from the social structures there. The economic situation in Bulgaria at the moment is very difficult and risky and these young people are in great need. We would like to help youth in risk to find shelter and work for the winter. I hope that you will also support us in this intention and effort of ours to be “a sympathetic heart and a helping hand” for these children without parents and family.
Another great joy we experienced this summer were the camps and our time together with the little orphans. The theme of our camp was “BE BRAVE – to be kind, to forgive and to dream!” These were five days filled with messages about God’s love, saturated with beautiful, but also challenging moments of laughter and tears!
How happy we were on the last day when these rejected and hurt kids with hearts full of pain and anger gained the courage and made decisions to forgive and dream of the Good!
Thank you for participating with us in this ministry. We couldn’t do it alone! Because together we can face every challenge and difficulty through the Good!
