I would like to specially thank the musicians who so wholeheartedly responded to my invitation to be together tonight, added Petrova.
Lyudmil Angelov, Philip Angelov, Kalina Andreeva, Ivaylo Vassilev, Dimitar Gorchakov, Simeon Goshev, Atanas Krastev, Bogomila Krasteva, Sibyla Petrova, Borislava Taneva, Kristina Hinova and Stefania Yankova performed classical works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Frederic Chopin, Robert Schumann.
Violinist Liya Petrova said that it is a privilege for her to play the Guarneri del Gesù violin and that she dedicates every piece she plays to Stoika Milanova.
The chairwoman of the Star of Hope Foundation, Tanya Konyarova, also expressed her gratitude to the musicians. “You are all human beings with a capital H,” Konyarova said in an address to the performers.
The concert was also attended by the mayor of the Sredets district, Traycho Traykov, who said that it was an honor for him to be here tonight, when talent and kindness come together in a noble cause.
